Nose lift system

Does anyone have a nose lift system. I know Techart sells the system, but does anyone recommend anybody else that sells them?

I had one on my 996 Turbo S back in the day. IMO it's not worth it.

Cheaper just to replace the front lip if it irks you a lot. I don't mind a couple of scrapes, and use plastic-dip monthly to keep it fresh and fill in the more minor things

I fitted one for a customer it worked great, lifted about 25-30mm at the push of a button, quite a popular option on new ferraris I believe.

Yes, I was wondering too. Did you mean not worth it as in "not worth a few thousand dollars new", or not worth it as in "wouldn't even want it for free"?

We have lots of steep driveways and road calming obstructions here so I've made a habit of the 'bogan swerve' (aka boy racer swerve), taking them at an angle combined with a quick tap of brake then gas to lift the nose that bit further at the critical moment as well as tapping the gas coming off the top. Some of the parking buildings here have ramps so steep too that I also have to gun the 996T a bit over the lip getting onto the down ramps or coming off the up ramps or risk bellying out.

With due apologies, I reckon there is a special chamber in the afterlife reserved for carpark designers.

Was the problem that the lift kit was just too slow in operation?

Cost aside, for me it was just too cumbersome to use on a regular basis. I had the Cargraphic lift kit which used compressed air I believe, so I can only speak to this.

It was too slow to lift the car, didn't like waiting. So would the people honking at me from behind lol. It was also noisy which is just kind of weird when you're sitting in your nice 911 and it sounds like a lawnmower is starting up.

You can lift it and drive with the nose raised up to 30mph or something, but the ride quality while lifted feels horribly bouncy. I know it is just temporary, but it just felt wrong to me.

Added weight, installation complications..

There are other types of lift kits that don't used compressed air I think, they might be better.

In the end I'd rather just leave my car OEM height.. which is what I did for the 997. Hope this helps!
