PCM maps

Does anyone know if there is any place less expensive to by CD maps for a 2001 PCM system? My dealer wants $280 per disk. I live in the NW and drive to California occasionally and would like to use the GPS system.

Good Idea, but Ebay appears to be full of BMW cds. Note they all run about $30!!! Anything aftermarket or OEM seems to be at least triple for the Porsche.

It is possible that Porsche blocks all CD burned copies, or CD type burned copies. There is nothing I can do if the drive cannot read burned CD's, but if it does, I still bet you that the CD will not work with most CD burning software. You have to use Clone CD if you want it to work.

Any Software that can clone a CD will work (I'm using Alcohol 120%). You are allowed, by copyright laws, to take a backup copy and then use that in the car.
