Chip a new ECU?
Chip a new ECU?
Can I buy a used ECU, chip it and use it interchangably with the original ECU?
Any software conflicts with the tip control unit?
The logic is that it's easier to part out when selling.

Sharkey,
Does that mean those of us in California will still be able to pass a smog test, by just flipping back to stock?- and once the smog test is done, flip back to performance mode? Is this something that can be done at the home garage or does it need to be done at a tuning center?
Thanks for the clarification.

A single "performance" file is $2000. If you do the 2X (includes performance and stock) then that's an additional $200. There is also a "race gas" file which is an additional $500. The hand held is $150.
Thanks!
