I waited 2 months for a oem piston and sleeve from Germany recently. Good luck on it.

Thanks guys. Mark, I'm not even positive what's going on inside here. I want to help Sean to get a true evaluation (by Sean haha). It would be a rare case if there is in fact internal damage. But the silver lining is that a build was part of the plan...just moved up on the timeline anyway. So SRM and I will help him compensate for that and make him whole. It sucks what happened and it's part of the game sometimes. Once we have it open we will have a little meeting about what is required and what is just badass including displacement

We may very well reinforce and put it back together as a 3.6. It will be a lot easier to look at when it's on the table and all the facts are there. Sean has been an amazing customer and really a true car guy. He loves his car and actually enjoys it on some serious drives. Can't wait to get him back on the road.
