Anyone have any idea on how to remove the fuel filler neck from the gas tank to facilitate gas tank removal?? From diagrams it doesn't appear to have a locking mechanism or anything and i get the impression you just twist and pull until loose! expensive piece tho and id hate to ruin it.

 

Yep! Pull, twist, turn, etc. little penetrating oil on the neck.
