iirc? randy ( rip ) was either talking of it or actually dropped the 10+k for the sqs, if my memory serves. ask steve here, or perhaps he can answer.. he has the remnants of randy's old car.

TH400!!! wouldn't that be cool! Why don't you just sell the 6-speed and go with a built tip? I personally love no boost loss shifts. I have seen some adapt paddle shifters for the tip too!

I'll have to research more. I'm leaning towards just selling my entire 6 speed with ERP clutch, gt2 slave, pedals, numeric shifter, etc.

I need to see what is needed electronics wise, not sure if the ecu and cluster need a swap, steering wheel, etc.

Thank for all the info!! You guys are a wealth of knowledge!!

built tip with big power mechanically shouldnt' be a problem.
Issues is redline. It's at about 6500 so you've got to choose the right turbo's. With big power manuals you see a lot of guys running 7500 or above...
afaik evomsit does have a software upgrade that shifts the redline to 7k

I've been wanting to convert my 996tt tip to manual for some time. Good to hear that it is possible. Can you post parts and instructions.
