575 hp ? with just a tune?

Yeah let's hit reset. For the record Matt has driven just about every 911 model and some 900+ hp beasts too. The car has more than just a tune and IMHO the comments in the Vid by Matt nyx are pretty spot on especially for a casual video set up the day prior . Don't get the harsh criticism. I bet if everyone was at the 996TT round table they would have nice car talk.

That you are a car enthusiast def came through in the vid. Don't be put off by the comments - most of the guys here really are OK. This really is a good place to go for advice. And it would be nice to hear more about you and your car.
I will have to work on creating a job like that.

Well all that matters I've made a new friend lol
I was "attempting" to share with you you my vast familairity with road and that you rubbed on a flat bumpless section of that hi-way and well.
You know your car lol! Welcome anyway. I suppose my attempt to welcome you with generosity and aplomb failed!
Mine only runs the right way while in clearly capable of running in all manner if ways hah
Enjoy

If you listen to the video it's clear that the type over revs are understood, it just doesn't come out completely. The lifted redline almost certainly contributed to the numbers. I do think the insistence on rolling the fenders may be a little misplaced as I don't think that many of us have found it that necessary? I certainly haven't and my car is a touch too low but I'm running stock sized tires. Hopefully the tires didn't suffer too much cross country, that's quite the haul! My drive home from Indiana turned into an adventure with my car, hopefully your's was smoother!

yeah the threads have gone sideway faster than an unskilled driver in a rwd 996 turbo..
stock tires on flat surfaces (all else being equal ) are not going to rub. unless of course something is broken! whats to rub?!
the op is on a lowered car with springs in the hills with tires that are not stock! ( larger if i heard them properly?? ) .. and needs no advice. end of ( non ) story lol.
...and for the record, i took it upon myself to send what i felt was a very warm and heartfelt, welcome the club sort of note a ( won't do THAT again LOL ) of which i feel has either been lost or misconstrued. but no one can say i didn't try. why? who knows lol. perhaps in what remains of the holiday spirit or because i am an a**hole. ether way, they have fallen on deaf ears although sent unsolicited in the spirit] of genuine conciliatory intent. so like i said clearly, I've made a "new friend" whatever.

Been through the same canyons sometime ago. Nothing like 10+ P cars out for a "spirited" run.
The folks on the roads 95%+ know when to let you by.
Gotta watch out for the understeer every now an then.
