Realistic cost...
Why are you considering a ProEFI - and then not even ICs? To me, that does not make sense.
- clutch Sachs upgraded clutch package (often called 2.5) $1700
- OEM GT2RS ICs $1500
- exhaust - depends on what you want ~$2500
- billet K16 tune package from one of the regular vendors here on the board (Markski, Sambott, Kevin/UMW) with a 5bar FPR or injectors ~$3500
These prices are a rough guide, but something like this will give you the biggest bang for your $.
EDIT: Exhaust. I get frustrated reading posts by people who have obviously not read the thread. And then I do it myself...

Yea, I would skip ProEFI if you're on a budget and just use Cobb for tuning. No need for special fueling beyond injectors with K16. $10K seems feasible for clutch, billet K16, intercoolers, injectors, and Cobb, but I have never gone down that road so I'm not sure of any surprise costs.
I have just a tune and exhaust on my car. After dynoing on a 90 degree day and watching my my HP drop by about 15 on the second pull and another 20 on the third pull, there is no way I would feel comfortable upgrading the turbos without upgrading intercoolers. Headers were glowing red hot.

Injectors
Intercoolers
Turbos
Upgrade your diverters
Upgrade clutch and lighten flywheel
3inch y pipe and boost hoses
76mm exhaust
Tune the car
Your looking at 20K plus with labor.
Lose the springs and go coilovers with sway bars and links. Ohh pin your coolant lines. That's a must.

I can't fight it anymore...I must do turbos. Swore I'd leave this car alone, but just can't. Lol. I want flex fuel, so I'd run proefi, k16s, and injectors from markski. The car has 100000miles, so I imagine the oil lines are shot. Obviously I'd need a clutch to....so..what would a good budget be for all of that? Is it 10k?
clutch it self (depends) 2 to 4k ?
Not bashing the proEFI at all..it's a bada@@ unit. But for what you are running...I'd do a Cobb (or similar) and get a E85/70 tune along with it. If you are trying to stay under 10K....it's a must. The ProEFI all setup...will eat up ~50% of your 10K budget at least. For that..you could get the cobb and custom tune along with an upgraded clutch.
Good luck!!!
FYI - my initial HP goals were 800-900hp so that's why I went with the proEFI as well along with flex fuel, anti-lag, etc etc. But then reality set in...pretty much after I was done with the most of the parts excluding clutch, LSD and motor build and I realized I didn't need the proEFI for my new power goals of 500-600hp.

Also, you dont need to go full power on the turbos right away. I would talk to Sam and he can guide you through what to do when. You could always get the turbos and have them initially detuned until you get the clutch/injectors done or do it vice versa.
I second using the Cobb. One of the benefits that nobody talks about is the Valet tune that you can set on it. It sets the redline at 4500 so no kid pulls a Ferris Bueller on you.
