Fuel filter removal on 1999?

Hi again guys. Trying to get my car started... I figure it's time to replace the fuel filter anyway, so might as well do it and see if that solves "my cars not starting" issue.
Only issue... I've removed the plastic off the bottom of the car, I've located the fuel filter. I've taken off the clamp U shaped pieces that hold the aluminum lines to the bottom of the car so I can move them out of the way so I can get access to my fuel filter (which was installed first, before the lines for some reason)...

Who has had a DIFFICULT time getting access to the filter? It seems impossible to remove. Any hints?

Got it. Done deal. For anyone else reading this in the future, trying to figure out how to remove the fuel filter. Take the bracket of the filter that secures it to the cars body before attempting to remove it. If you leave the bracket on, it won't come out of its area (tucked up inside the tunnel being the aluminum lines).
