If you're debating between 955 and 957 I would suggest getting 955 because you're obviously not opposed to the age and you'll save like $15k. You're in for a depressing shopping experience. It seems owners of these tend to treat them more as regular cars than Porsches. I finally found one owned by a Porsche enthusiast and it shows.
I just got it last weekend. It's my first SUV after an 11 year run of all cars, most of which low. It's a totally new sensation for me and I feel like I'm driving a house. But as far as SUV's go, this is pretty awesome.

The only thing that concerns me is the 4.5. It only lived in the 04-06 Cayenne and that's it! The 4.8 is in a lot more and is still being produced.
But my epiphany came when I was in high school and had a friend who's entire family was into the show car scene. He had a Z-28 where I would not have hesitated to lick any part on the car topside or bottom (for a small sum of money
). You could comb your hair in the intake manifold or laying under the car in the spring plates. Even the mom's station wagon was show car from underneath. When I built my Camaro ('cause I did not have a dad who paid), I started to go in the same direction. But when I was about to have friends who were getting in the car during a rainstorm get back out (because I had spent several hours shampooing the carpet and drying it over the swing set LOL), I realized something in my attitude was screwed. I will not intentionally or carelessly damage my cars, but my car care will never get in the way of my having fun with them. Otherwise there is simply no point in owning them. IMO. To each his own.
I agree who gives a **** , the are objects , they are just cars and as stated they get driven they get beat on you take them to the track
There is no way I would let my dogs claws get that close to the paint on any of my vehicles= I would if that meant protecting him or getting him to the vet, otherwise it just causes unnecessary damage and don't see the need. That said its nice to see animal lovers as I'm one myself.
