Just cleaned my Maf...

I'm probably going to order a new MAF this spring anyway. Might as well for the price of one. However for the time being the clean is working great. I'll do the maf after I do plugs in a couple weeks.

Just unscrewed it, sprayed the prongs with some MAF cleaner I found laying around the dealership I work at and plugged it back in. No pictures... sorry!

its two torx t20 security screws a connector to un click/click after u LIGHTLY spray the diode side and let it dry. dont forget the throttle reset when you re-install it, or you'll be scratching your head.

What is "throttle reset"? Thanks -Wade

i had always been told to reset anytime the maf is disconnected. so don't reset and save yourself 60 seconds lol
reset is simply plug maf back in and turn ignition to all dash lights on setting until you hear the e-gas/TB re-calibrate "clicking".
that's the "reset". why not just do it.
add: just to qualify..
if you only disconnect the maf, then it's superfluous to reset the tb.. but if you disconnect it and drive around to determine if you have maf issues? then i'd reset. there. i said it lol
