Spoiler motor

Anyone have a source for a motor? Mine finally gave out. Wondering if I can just find a generic motor.

Hooked to a 12v source, nada. Spoiler has been lagging, so I did the pump bleed/feel service. Leaky Rams, and now and inoperable motor. Could be seized. Anyway to get in there and check the brushes?

So far, I've never heard of the failed electric motor. That is why I was asking you. I wonder if the plastic block (black) is not broken and stock in the casing....But if you don't hear any movement at all I guess your right the motor has failed....I went to look closely at my motor and the only access I can see is two torx screws at the base of the motor Can be seen on the picture). The rest is all sealed.... I can look at it tomorrow if you want because my torx bits are not within reach right now.......

I don't want you going out of your way. Currently hydraulics are completely out so it's much easier for me to get at it. I'm wondering if any like rated motor would work?

Found this I'll reach out to them. I'm sure they don't publicly offer goods, but can point me to a distributor.

I had to pull the guts out of my motor can, was an overheat situation, melted some of the brush holder, but not enough that I couldn't file it out and straighten the brush again. Worked for a few months until a bad leak developed at a ram. That's when I gave up. Have a couple sets sitting under my workbench in the basement in a sealed container.
