P.S we can compare 'aero' issues one of these days...alignment is very sensitive on these cars...and yes that's a good thing... 'fantastic' on track can mean 'poor' on 'vmax'

Any stock 996 TT is floaty at 140 mph. You may not feel it while driving perfectly straight, but take a highway bend with some steering input and youll feel it. While part of it could be alignment, when a car produces lift, as the 996 TT does, the car gets floaty at high speeds. You can counter with rake, and AWD helps driver confidence.

I would love to hear if anyone running Toth's front splitter has seen much impact at these speeds. I would think at the 140+ range, it should have some pretty decent downforce to help plant the front end.

I agree...I believe I've read a few posts with feedback on the Toth splitter and it was positive. I'm sure I bookmarked them somewhere. You would think just based on the dimensions/shape that it would make a pretty nice difference at higher speeds. I was really interested in doing a gt2 rep front bumper like OP but since it's a pretty big job to install it and duct it correctly I gave up on that idea...if I cant do it right I will just stick to stock. (gt2 bumper looks great though )

I'm still considering the Toth splitter + stock TT bumper.... I'm pretty sure this combo would be considerably better than a gt2 front bumper without proper ducting. Car feels so great since I did the coilovers and better alignment that I don't want to mess with it though!!

Splitters are not rocket science, I'm sure Toth's splitter works great like his other products. I have one, but haven't mounted it yet and won't until I add the corresponding rear DF and front dive planes.

Yeah, it looks like he makes very nice parts. I would love to hear your feedback once you try it out. I know you have a lot of experience with how these cars feel so would be really great to hear how it works for you.

This

Too steep of rake angle will make the car dart and any steering input will generally be too much. It will be hard to keep the car going straight. A tiny drop in the rear of lift in front will make a huge difference.

In my case the front was too high compared to the rear. I believe that was trapping too much air underneath.

Mine was obviously too high in the rear as it surfaced after fitting new rear tires. I went from a worn out 30 aspect ratio to a new 35% and the car became darty, the faster I go the worse it gets. I'm glad I have height adj coilovers so I can dial in the rake. I've done it before, takes 10-15 min, makes a huge difference.

Thanks for all the feedback, I have height adjustable coilovers as well so I'll look into that.

I was looking at my aero wing today and noticed it's angled really flat compared to the regular wings. All the pictures I've seen of factory aero wings look like they have the same flat angle though. I noticed that the top portion of my wing is adjustable by loosening 2 bolts underneath on each side.
My question for the aerodynamic experts here is what affect would tilting the back, up or down, have on the overall lift and down force of the car? I would think tilting it up would push the rear down but how would that affect the front, or would it even?

I just now got through testing my car and it feels awesome in the handling department. I turned up the spring adjustment collars two full revolutions raising the front approx .010". All the hunting and dartiness is gone. I may experiment a bit and lower it a half turn and try to find that sweet spot where I have high speed stability and the quickest lightest turn in too.

Ok, so I didn't actually try to adjust it and just assumed it was adjustable from the way it sits on the base but the more research I do I'm started to think that it's not adjustable. I found this bulletin for dealerships on how to retrofit the full aerokit and it doesn't mention anything about it being adjustable.
Interestingly though, it does mention to not install either the front lip or wing on their own but that they must be installed together.

Since I have the aero wing without the aero lip, this concerns me.
