Just got my first set of the EVO K16 Sport headers in as well as the K24 ones. They're not just pretty but they actually give out some good results too. A nice relatively cost-effective upgrade for either the K16 turbo based cars or the K24 turbos. Let me know if ya' need either or and/or ceramically coated etc...

I also have the "GT" series headers for the GT700-900 cars with the 1 3/4 inch primaries etc... Here they are pictured on my car...

 

Thats some serious looking kit ! fantastic !

 

Best part is the fitment and the fact I don't scrape them anymore being lowered Took me less than 30 minutes to install...

 

Can the race headers be used on a gt640 Kit? What are the benifits of doing this? Is there a down side to doing this?

the k24 kit will work on the gt2, right? how much does it cost, and how much power should i expect to gain?

 

ower gains are increased by 17 HP and 20 Ft. TQ with no other modifications.

im guessing those number are in addition to the stock setup, right? assuming i had other power mods, i could expect greater gains, right?

 

Absolutely, you'll get more from them if you're flashed and such... browse through the EVO site and you'll see dynos reflecting that.

Hi Tim,

It's port-matched to the K24s but I'll ask Todd on this one. I know that they don't hang as low and are also a bit cheaper since they're made by EVO this time around. I believe the gains over what you have would be minimal.

You could use them yes... they're more suited for the larger turbos with 1 3/4 inch primaries but should you ever go to the larger turbos they'd be useful.
