Thoughts on Stone Guards?

Wondering everyones thoughts on these stone guards that came on my 996tt. They are magnetic and easily removable but I think I like them. Since there isn't much contrast with the Slate Grey I think they work - not sure on a lighter car...

Always wondered how these would look on our cars. Any chance of a shot from farther away?

I would take care not to get any grit between magnet and car. It will mess up your clearcoat pretty quickly.

I like the idea, I had them on my '80 Guards Red Carrera, but I think they make area around the fender air intake too busy. My eyes keep looking up at the intake, down at the guard, up, down, up, down...

I think it may work well or better on a C4S. My opinion, you asked, your car.

+1. Also if water gets between the sheet and your paint, it will end up getting so hot it'll cloud the clear coat. Ask me how I know...

If it's looks you are after, that's one thing, but I was at an event where the track was pretty contaminated and my front end got totally sand-blasted. There was virtually no damage ahead of the rear wheels, so I don't think you get much functionally from this mod.
