Question How many time in a row Can I Brake Boost?

Is brake boosting completely safe?

Or will it blow my tiptronic tranny (by raising the temps) if I do it say 5 in a row?

What are you using for tuning?

Not sure if the stock tranny was meant for repeated brake boosting (ragged on like it should ). Are you able to log tranny temps somehow? I'd say temps above 250 deg F would start to get worrisome.

FYI, I don't own a TIP.

By the way, its possible for the 6-gears too, but needs to be programmed.

I can imagine you fry your brakes before your tranny?

Depends on if he's talking about brake boosting from a roll or from a standstill.

being a rear engine car and using sticky tires it wont take much to push the car down the track or road. light on the front heavy in the back and standing on the boost and brake it just slides the tires
