Misha Gt2 Wing Experience

Hello all just wanted to say I purchased a gt2 wing from Misha... Mike was the contact person I emailed through the process. Not sure about past Experiences but:

1. All emails I sent Mike, he responded in a timely manner... Total of 27 Emails
Don't judge me lol.
2. I got the Carbon Fiber Wing blade Total Time of order to Delivery about 3 weeks.
3. Received the Wing at a great price shipped to my door packed very well.
4. I test fitted it and yes there are some areas that need work but for the most part I am def satisfied with the wing.
5. Will post pics from the body shop after its finished.

Just thought I would share my experience.

Before pics would be helpful too so we can understand the amount of work needed.

Thanks

I took off the Carbon Fiber Wing Blade. Did not want to scratch it

pic of the wing on the car, Mind you the latch is not on the wing just bolted the 4 screws on the wing

I noticed the left side is a bit lower need to be sanded and fixed

The gap is good on this side

There is a bit of dip in the wing on this side not bad, body guy says he can fix no problem

I know with alot of fiber glass parts there are dips, bumps etc, the major thing is seen with the wing personally is the left sign is lower, but mind you i am not a body guy it could need adjusting, but i tried my best to adjust it, and there is not hardware attached to lock the wing in place (i.e latch)

I'm glad they got their response and delivery time improved. My experience was not as good. Fit/finish does seem pretty mediocre, but I think it is par for the course with aftermarket fiberglass deck lids.

Congrats on the purchase, interested to see pics once you get it finished up on the car.

I'd love to see the fit and finish out of the box of for example the Precision Porsche version. I'm wondering if theirs would need the same amount of work???

I have a gt2 fiberglass bumper and it also needed some work. I believe since ALL the fiberglass parts are from a MOLD. They will def need some work, now depending on the depth of the work. The final outcome depends on the Body guy and how meticulous he is, or the owner .

Yup... I've worked with fiberglass parts before and they always need some tweaking. The great thing is that it's pretty easy to work with. I've been looking at the Precision Porsche stuff and it'd be interesting to compare how they are also. I'm guessing it's about the same

Looks pretty good for a fiberglass setup. The final adjustments do not look to bad with some minor tweaking.
