Another Sambo build!!!
Dropped my car off to "the man" the other day for some "tweaking!" Here is the build sheet:
Sachs GT2 Clutch disc and 764 PP
EVO inlet pipes
Cobb Tuning AP
ID 1000cc Injectors
Tial K24 / A68 Billet Turbos
IPD Plenum
74mm Throttle Body
710N Diverter Valves
Return to Stock (3.8 bar) FPR
New Denso Plugs
New Accumulator
New check valves (2)
New Serpentine Belt
New RMS
New 997 Trans Mount
JB weld coolant pipe reinforcement
Check and zip-tie all vacuum lines w/leak test
MAF-less conversion
Ball-bearing pop-out fix
Goal is 600 RWHP. Should be a beast! The clutch break-in period is going to kill me!!!

just curious..(a) ball bearing addition? is this a preventative measure or does the car "pop out"..
and (b) do the 1000cc injectors eliminate the need for a quick fix 5 bar fpr allowing return to the 3.8? i would imagine that to be so.

Cheers everyone. Aslan, i'm really excited about this one. My head has been in the 991 game a lot and I miss these cars. Just driving it in was a pleasure! You have such a clean well-maintained car my friend. I will be sure to provide a log with pictures and updates for you the whole way through. She will definitely wake up and i'm excited to say you should have the same or better turbo response! Stay tuned !
M, The ball bearing added to the detent assembly does help with a little tighter gear selection and pop out prevention. With the ID 1000 injectors tuning goes much smoother and the cars run like a dream MAFless. About 750 crank no problem until you need more supporting fuel mods.

cool, thx for the info. my shifting is pretty smooth since that trans refresh awhile back. have changed t-fluid twice already since then. cheap insurance and no notchy shifting ever...even when cold.
so bo's gonna have a 700+ monster? awesome .. almost too much hp for these roads up here!
