they'll write off cars here in Kali for less than you'd think. i saw my last tt "totaled" as they make more parting it out than it would've been for my ins co fix it and let me keep it. 60% of "value" or over in repair estimate ( iirc ) they just write it off. that's why it's premature to "write off" for a possible steal/purchase a salvage titled Kali car for those reasons. still, with that criteria, a simple fender bender would have to be "proven" to me to feel ok about buying.

that said, salvage titles are rightfully circumspect and require added due diligence. my bet ( still ) is it's a "good car".

paymon19 is infamous around these parts
I actually believe the seller. It had minimal damage. No frame damage, no airbags deployed. He said he drove it right after the auction. He replaced the bumper, headlight, and radiator..
Still I wouldn't pay more than $30k... and seller wont come down

It looks good but some things don't add up. That's a GT2 style nose, does it have the ductwork? Check the VIN on that fender, it's not claimed to have been replaced but it's torn up. Check leading edge of passenger door for paintwork, look to see if the skin was replaced and if it has a VIN check it too. Check that hood, rear edge and VIN. Windshield may have been replaced due to contact but hard to tell. Interesting that so much work was done at TPC which is EAST coast but this is in Cali. I'd replace that intake I think and upgrade the intercoolers. I'd consider putting it on an alignment rack too. The hit looks light but check the suspension mount points. Fenders are $400, bumpers are expensive, hoods too, but totaled? Maybe they were trying to use GT2 bumper pricing? Do your due diligence!

Price is good if it all checks out! Looks damn nice for sure and a good start on something really fast. He say anything about a clutch?
