I finally pulled the trigger. Picked up a beautiful seal grey/ black 2003 turbo. It has just over 12k miles. Passed a ppi Friday. It now sits in my garage.

My last fun car was a tuned 335xi, so I am excited to start working on this one.

I ordered all the parts for a iPad dash conversion and a speed tech exhaust. I'll upload more pics as I move along.

I am already appreciative of all the great info on this forum, I hope I can contribute something while I'm here.

iPad conversion on an '03? That may be tricky with the MOST system.

There are a lot of threads discussing it. I ended up with a tranzit Blu hf system. I'll probably post an updated parts list after I get it all working...

Not tricky. Just need to replace the factory amp. I ripped out my whole MOST system last month and installed a Pioneer Double-Din CarPlay deck and 5 channel amp. Adding an iPad wouldn't be any tougher than any other year 996.
