P0156
Factory Fault Code 20 - O2 sensor circuit

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
P0140 - O2 sensor after TWC, Bank 1 -- Open circuit.

Possible fault cause:
Open circuit in signal wire or ground wire of O2 sensor
O2 sensor heating faulty.

P0161 - O2 sensor heating after TWC, Bank 2 - Open circuit.

Possible fault cause:
Resistance of the O2 sensor heating too great.
Open circuit.

P0136 - O2 sensor after TWC, Bank 1 - signal implausible.

Possible fault cause:
Short circuit to ground in signal wire.
Intercore short circuit.

P0156 - O2 sensor after TWC, Bank 2 -- signal implausible.

Possible fault cause:
Short circuit to ground in signal wire.
Intercore short circuit.

Each of the above error code has some tests to run to determine if the problem is with the sensor, its connector, the wiring harness, or the DME.

Given the errors are on both banks, with just the sensor after the TWC (three way converter), I'd hazard a guess you have an exhaust leak.

Did you just install an exhaust system?

As an aside it is very important the metal o-ring that seals the turbo to the exhaust is replaced whenever the turbo and exhaust are separated, as would be the case when plugs are changed.
