My old shifter was in fantastic shape with nearly no wear on any of the plastic parts. It performed as it should from the factory. With that...HOLY CRAP!
The difference is downright silly. The engagement of the gears are precise and rifle-like. The throw is substantially reduced with the 997 SSK.
This is the way the car should have been from the factory!

Dont ask me why 6speed always puts my photos on the side!

I've said it before but I have to post again, loving this FF kit.

 

I've got a Numeric that replaced a sloppy B&M, I think this setup looks damn good at that price to eliminate slop. Love my shifter but this on a good short shifter would be my second choice for sure!

 

It's nearly the same but without the metal housing.

well...if you add the 997 SSK too, I should say. Which I did and love.
