Market feeler: flared front fenders
$30 for real carbon fiber? I haven't seen that anywhere. Considering the cost of design, likely some testing, considering the vents protrude which should be more efficient and designed specifically for a 911 (Porsche tax included). What have you found in CF that meets any of those criteria for $300? There are cheap options out there. Just buy those.
For comparison Joe Toth's CF dive planes were $300 CDN, IMO reasonable and I was happy to pay that to support a privete enterprise and fellow enthusiast. Maybe we should ask him to produce some vents too?
You have to consider it takes a lot more development for these than a basically universal canard. Not to mention there are a whole lot less people willing to cut massive holes in their fenders than tape/screw on canards. Every part will not fit the chinese budget structure. There are cheap parts out there $50 in fact, if you are looking for cheap, they are out there. This is not one of them.
Link for what exactly? The Thread on Rennlist?

Place that made the louvers is called Vision Motorsports. I didn't get any info on the fender flares as the owner said he sold his composite business. He said he has a few sets of the louvers left over in his office. Price is 750.00 for the pair.

Not sure if this is high jacking the thread or adding to it. John, let me know if you feel a new thread should be started.
After staring at the front fenders of too many cars, I thought the E46M3 fender might have the fender extension needed to graft onto to the turbo fender without going through too much effort to hand form custom extensions. The E46M3's run 18" wheels and are also a fairly tight package. I found a damaged fender for $100 to experiment and decide if this is a reasonable aesthetic option. I expect anyone considering this mod wants to look as OEM as possible.
I cut off the M3 fender extension approx 2 3/4 inches from the flat vertical leading edge (the black and green tape). It has not yet been trimmed perfectly as you can see it runs long in the front and is not fitted to taper down to zero at the bottom. I'm now experimenting with the options of how to blend the bumper.
The gain is over 1" of outward clearance and 3/4 height clearance in the key area where clearance is required.
Still thinking and considering the options.

Actually not bad at all.
