Has anybody here made the move from TT to a Gallardo?

I'm trying to decide if I want to pull the trigger on a TT 996 or a G-ride.

I'd like to hear your feedback.

G-ride? I assume you mean Gallardo - if those are your choices - go for the Gallardo -

Although you may not want to call it a "G-ride" amongst owners -

 

I would pick the tt or a Diablo, but I don't care much for the "G-ride"

I drove the Gallardo and all I can say is that I enjoyed driving my TTs better. I felt that the Porsche had MUCH more feedback as well as much better visibility.
Yes, I admit; The Gallardo is definetly something more than the Porsche to look at , but as far as driving, I enjoyed the Porsche more..
To me the Porsche was more exiting and much more nimble..
If I was being chased, I would much rather be in the Porsche..

 

This has been asked before-

if you want performance - reliability and everyday use get the TT

if you want the look get the Gallardo- Not that it isnt a performing car.

"G-ride" or "P-car"

I've alwasy hated these terms.

Get the Gallardo if you want to look cool (it is)... 996 Turbo if you don't care blending in as just another 911 Porsche.

 

G.....996 = thing of the past.

I want to love the Gallardo, I just can't get over how boring looking it is inside and out.

You are not going to be wrong either way...both fantastic cars. Yes, I know that does not answer your question but it is true.

I think the Porsche is probably more reliable, and certainly the outward vision is better. The Gallardo is without question more aesthetically pleasing to most people. I also frankly find the Gallardo simply more fun to drive. The combo of no turbo lag, awesome exhaust note, much better balance handling wise, and simply sexier looks are appealing to me.
