Since the exhaust is actually flowing in pulses, I would expect very little "crashing". However, you can't argue with the hot spot pwdrhound pointed out above.

Later, Steve

I had an exhaust on my car with two completely divorced pipes, the drone was ungodly! I considered adding a crossover but decided to dump it altogether. I've not even tried selling it as I wouldn't wish it on someone else :-O

I have an uninstalled EBWerks system that I had a look at last night.. I think the window in the EB system is slightly larger than 1x1, but it is definitely not the full pipe opening to the other. It's almost more of an H pipe than X pipe when inspecting it.. Can't really get a good pic of it, but I was feeling around and looking as best I could with a flash light.

Will see what it looks like this time next year. I doubt much is being left on the table power wise from one to another. Definitely something for everyone to keep an eye on.

still have it? I am hunting for an exhaust now that has a exotic sound. I currently have straight pipes. Im not paying 4500$ though...or even 2000. Its 5 feet of pipe. Drone does not bother me.

Oh I still have it but IMO it doesn't sound exotic at all. Fairly quiet outside, drones awful inside. I've kept the double tips that were bolted to it - nicest part of the silly thing.

is it more quiet and refined? when I close the cutouts on my vette, I swear its faster. I think its because im not focused on the mind numbing sound that's beating my head silly.

That's most likely the case. Cars "feel" faster when they are quieter IMO.
