Tire recommendations for 19" rim
Love the color ! Was gonna order that color back in 2003 but settled on a Seal Grey that had just come in. What size and offset are your rims? Mine are 8.5 and 11.5. Was thinking 295 but it may look a little stretched on 11.5 rims. Was running 315/25 and I liked the width. This is such a headache. Part of me is worried about the front diff as I understand the concept as it pertains to tire sizing. Was hoping that someone out there did some longer term testing with 245/305 setup and checked front diff. Really was hoping to run another set of Michelins (PSS or new PS4) but it does seem like thats gonna happen.

A 255 front is very hard to fit and would not recommend unless your comfortable with modding lots of stuff in the front of your rear. A 245 is much easier to fit.
As for 245/305 combo, it does run fine, just the awd system doesn't transfer much torque to the front wheels. I local guy has run sadly a 235/305, setup on his car for many years with zero issues. I told him he needed to switch to a 245 front next time he gets tires though.

Ya just put a spacer in. 5mm, 7mm whatever you need to make it work
Well just going to rwd with an open diff is super easy and really costs nothing. You will want to add a diff though and that costs quite a bit for most guys not doing a portion of the work themselves. For a street car, wavetrac is the ticket and are 1250 bucks, for a track car, guardian are the ticket and are 2500+. Then you have install on top of that.
