It's just to save weight. It is such a small amount I didn't care. I literally bought bar stock, cut to length, drilled 8 holes and bolted them up. Total cost with buying bolts locally.......26 dollars (us money) and 2 hours of time to make them and bolt all 4 sides up.

There really is no reason for not buying aluminium bars, cut and drill them yourself.
But i buy the bar from the same guy that has the cnc equipment, so then i don't have to bother with cutting and screwing things up myself.

Freddy, would you mind having a look at the photo and see if you agree with the dimensions?

Looks good. I'd drill the holes though 1/2 inch instead of 12mm. It gives you a bit of wiggle room and easier to install and remove.

The winters are long here in norway so we have all the time in the world to complete this =) expect 4-6weeks before its complete.
Im currently awaiting my new 350mm discs so i can testfit the printed plastic adapters.
Then i need to adjust them and print the modified adapters and if they fit the drawings are ready.

So stay tuned.

It would be awesome if some good Samaritan on here could make up a few dozen or so of these aluminum bars and sell them for a modest price

AL Z is infamous around these parts
If anyone is interested
I also have one set of adapters for either the front or rears, including the proper bolts required.

Thanks,
Al Z

I'm chatting with a vender about possibly making some, price TBD etc. If anyone can verify dimensions that would be very helpful. I want a couple of sets for when my rotors need swapping. Hmm, wonder if we could find someone to make centers for two piece rotors and find some cheap outers?

Another super simple way to do the spacers is to make them out of round 6061 stock which is much cheaper and a bit lighter. There is no advantage per se to have the spacer "bridged" since you only need a spacer under the caliper lugs themselves. 8 identical spacers will take car of all 4 calipers.

28mm OD x 13mm ID x 12mm thick is the 330 to 350mm rotor spacer.
