Anyone know if Recaro SRD/speed seats fit?

I keep finding conflicting info if they are too wide or not. I have a set sitting around and thought about putting them in the tt if they fit.

Well I ordered the wedge brackets. Install was really easy besides disconnecting the harnesses under the drivers seat. Have no idea why there were so many wires.

Bringing this back from the dead as I'm looking to install Recaro SRD/Speed seats in my 996 C2 and am curious if the Wedge brackets increase headroom at all.

Looking to sit lower but still have access to the rear seat.

Do they still make the Speed? I thought Recaro discontinued these.

I tried installing these using planted brackets with recaro sliders. The ***** hit the center console and where the door sill kicks inward at the rear footwell. I found slimmer ***** but I don't know if that will give me enough room.
