For the OEM 964rs mounts you should order a longer set of bolts to allow dropping the engine further for access to the top while it's still connected.

The downside to soild and Semi soild motor mounts is the added vibration. I did not want additional vibration in my daily driver!
GMG takes care of my car and its set up.
My mechanic recommended I try the OEM RS style mount kit.
They worked perfectly. No noticeable vibration increase, much better handling.
It is the best solution!
Good info. I like the idea of the OEM RS mounts, but keeping NVH down is relatively high on my priorities.

Are you running a different transmission mount, as well?

I've been very happy with the function first motor mounts. Haven't been able to swap the trans mount yet.
