Am I crazy??

I love my CLS55, but I'm looking for something with a little more charachter. I think I found it.

Is that a Pullman? NICE. I actually drove one before, its pretty interesting but really a collector's car. I cant picture you driving it every day.

Now, a 190SL might be a different story LOL

I absolutley love this car - it has 25,000 ORIGINAL miles, owner is asking $140,000. I've only begun to look at them so I may find something better suited fora daily driver. Although this car is damn well perfect.

And no, no HRE's for this bad boy if I get it.

$140K for the one pictured seems kind of a lot. You can probably import one from Germany for a lot less. You won't need to do much paperwork as well since the car is over 25 years old. Nice choice...good luck!!!

Really neat cars. Maintenance costs as well as parts availability are gonna be rediculous, even compared to lambo standards. Just a warning....

You have infinite number of resources. That guy asking 140 is absolutely dreaming IMO.
Here are two from www.carclassic.com :
http://www.carclassic.com/stock.asp?StockID=100507
http://www.carclassic.com/stock.asp?StockID=102648

There is also another site full of german cars...I forgot its name though....heard it was bought by eBay or something. Does anyone know/remember that website's url? Finished by .de...I'll try to find it.

Edit: Here's the info on importing a car to the States: http://www.carclassic.com/us_info.asp

They are extremely costly to maintain but are beautiful.
