Best tire size and spacer setup for Turbo Twist wheels?

I am going to take my 19" wheels off my car and run the stock 18" Turbo twist. My car is on coilovers and about GT-2 ride height. What is the best tire size and spacer width to run? Also any advice on a decent set of tires would be appreciated! I only drive the car in nice weather and usually do canyon runs etc!

I figured spacers out! Going to run 7mm fronts and 15mm rear! Anyone offer some advice on best tire size setup? Can I run a 305 in the rear? Also what's best front size?

Which spacers are recommended in that size? I was thinking the same size as well...

I run the stock turbo twists with the a 315/30/18. No spacer necessary. If you run the spacer be careful that you do not rub the outside fenderwell.

7X15 spacers with fenders rolled and 315/30's lowered is the best flattest stance for stock twists. looks and rides perfect.

235/40/18 front with 315/30/18 rears is the best setup for stock twists.
15mm spacers front and rear with rolled fenders.

235/315 BFG Rival tires if you can find them, otherwise 235/295 Yokohama AD08 are great as well. I have a fender rolling tool also if you want to use it.

Looks like the AD08 is discontinued. Tire choices are dwindling for these cars.

I want to run the same set up. I have 17mm spacer rear and 5mm front currently. If I go with 315 and 17mm spacer do I really need to role the fender? Or should I take the 17mm off and have similar stance with the 315? I don't want to role my fenders. Thanks.

So is the consensus that you have to roll the fender with a 315 and a 15mm spacer? And you guys are getting the 315 on the stock 11" wide rear with no problems? I was told 305 is widest you can go? Tire choices are horrible for these sizes! Looks like Michelin PS is the only decent tire! Tire rack is very limited on there selection.

Is it really worth it to run the 18"? I'm wondering if I should just get new tires for my 19" HRE's in GT-2 size! I've never driven the car with the 18's but I've heard many people say it is a much better setup if you actually drive your car and aren't just about the looks of it!

gt2 size tires are 18"s..the best sizes are 235/40 X 315/30 ( oem gt2 ) so maybe the question should be: is it worth it to run 19's!? lol...

18's really are optimal for handling and yes, you can run a 315/30 on a stock twist. whether or not you have any liner rub will probably be driving condition dependent. if you are lowered, on 19's you'll rub at hard lock, at the least ( i did anyway..)

but most opt for the 315/30 with the fenders rolled. using a 15 spacer just pushes it out that much more, and its a wicked oem look on stock twists. especially if "lowered". on the plus side it will ride better. not as "harsh" as 19's can be. rolling the fenders is not a big deal and isn't as bad as it "sounds" depending upon the kind HAMMER you use lol
