Remus Exhaust, EVO V-Flow and Diverter Valves

I picked up my car today from Speed Gallery.

The popped (literally in two) diverter valve were replaced with with billet units.

The Remus exhaust is great. It is ever so-slightly deeper than stock at cruise and damn aggressive at full boost. Just what I wanted. I now understand why most exhausts make 40 HP peak and 15 Hp max. Basically, you get quicker spool up, which translates into more mid-range power and of course some more top end. I definitely recommend the Remus for price, sound and power. Give Speed Gallery a call and they'll hook you up!

I also had my V-Flow istalled (thanks FANMAN for the over the top holiday gift). The exhaust is louder and I can definitely hear a diverter valve whooosh when I close the throttle, but beyond that I can't tell. I'm sure part of the quicker spool and more power is due to the V-Flow.

I am very pleased with X-50 car's decreased lag and mid range punch. It is hard to explain driving an AWD car that gets squirelly in second gear + from throttle application. It's FAST and I like it that way.... but then you all know what I'm talking about right?

Finally, let me say that the guys at Speed Gallery (Allen and Sam) were very friendly and knowledgeable. They were a joy to work with.

While I'm thanking everyone, let me say another thanks to Arling and Lucent for the service they gave me as well.

According to EVO materials my car should be at about 560HP!

I'm strongly considering a RWD conversion. 7% decrease in HP drag + 150 less pounds all while keeping ABS and PSM. Still need to hook up with someone with a GT2 for a few quick blasts to make up my mind.

Over and out!

Hmm well with more info about this Vflow, that's my next mod without a doubt to complete my stage 2 along withs ome boost hoses, can't wait.. Who wants to give me the best deal

Anyway also with alot of testing i went from liking my M3 better, to ehh now car is running AMAZING since sprak plugs and maf sensor change to absolutely LOVING this goddam car and its power, preciseness and most of all TRACTION...

I wanted a GT2 badly, still thought of the conversion but cant get over this AWD traction, tough choice my man, goodluck though. BTW can you get some videos up, i would love to hear your car

I believe I got the 80 mm tubing from the euro spec unit. You may want to check with speed gallery. There are dyno charts from someone on this board that show 40HP midrange and 15Hp peak improvement on a stock car. The same as everything else I saw tested.

I like that fact that the car sounds almost stock (it has more base if you know what I mean). It is definitely louder than stock when punching it. At least 25-50% louder. There is no droning at all during cruise and deceleration.

Keep in mind that the stock exhaust's drone is not eliminated. It is simply not amplified to great degree. punch it though, and the the car has a mean growl that is louder and more aggressive than stock all the way to redline.

Exactly the characteristics I was looking for. Plus the price includes new quad tips.

Thanks again speed gallery!

I guess no more "202 X50, Bone stock" for you. From bone stock to Stage 3 in a flash.

I've never admitted to a GIAC flash. Don't know what any of you are talking about.
