I'm a mild racer (road course/drag) and I won't subject my P car to that abuse as I have other toys specific for that.
thanks!
Out of curiosity which clutch do you currently have?

A twin disc that holds 1500 ft lbs sounds awesome. I would love to hear more about this setup and any cars it has actually been tested on.

What ever happened to Carrie and the ERP clutches., I still have one of his triple carbon clutches and it is holding up like a champ almost 4 or 5 years latter.

I have been running the Protomotive twin disc set-up for a month or so now. Went from the 764PP and GT2 rigid disc and I am very pleased with the improved massive clamp force and solid engagement. It is designed with all OEM components, which I like (it uses the OEM lightweight RS flywheel, 764PP and two 996TT OEM sprung discs), good for 1200HP/TQ and it's not hard to operate - I have the GT2 non assisted conversion and it's very easy on the leg and comfortable in traffic. You can feather the clutch, although it's a shorter window than with the DM flywheel. The only real trade-off is the single mass RS flywheel is a bit tricky on take-off on very steep hills...I love the transformation and I am enjoying driving the car even more, since this clutch was installed.....

Is it impossible to use the dual mass flywheel with this setup? Would be nice to get rid of the ONLY downside... Just curious...

It is not possible as there is not enough room to fit it. This is a solid clutch, it really locks with authority when you let it out! I loved it.
