Perfect analogue for this question.

If there has been no damage and at only 2500 miles would be hard to believe there is, buying it back for the same price you could think it as a interest free loan to start the business. Specialty if you like the car and what you had put in to it. Powderhounds analogy was really funny though

Powderhound said it perfect. Well put !
You sold the car and it now has more milage. Treat it like any other used car purchase. I certainly wouldn't buy it back for the same coin. Follow your instinct. I also would be wondering what's under that new skin. You may have sold him a real beauty only to find out she tuned into a real *****. Let it go and move on to something new and exciting. Unless you just can't beat the price !

just thought I'd chime here...I did NOT buy back my car. After he sent me some pics and couldn't answer some questions...I decided I had had my fun with that car (although I do sort of wonder where it ended up)

I ended up picking up a 997.2tt a couple months ago. I've been doing some maintenance on it etc...haven't driven it much but drove it home, KS to TX...love it. I made the right decision!!!

congrats. i would never have been able to reconcile the notion offered by john, that buying the old one back would be akin to reconciling with a gf AFTER someone else messed with her lol.

enjoy the car. good to see ya still in a twin turbo.
