any running michi PS3 in front?
anyone run these on front? the Michelin PS3 A/S 3 235/40R18XL 95Y BSW.
currently on 235/40/18 p zeros and the PS3's will be paired against just scrubbed nt01's rear, which have been on for about 1k miles. the rears should be good for at least another 1500 miles
any input/advice is appreciated.
nvr mind..doesn't matter ..bought em. lol thanks!

should be ok? I've run PSS and PS2's in front before. just can't remember which were 235/40 ( perhaps both? ) but thats what size I've been running for a few years. just never had any ps3's.
They should be good tires, Michelin and all. Thing is that if you match them with really sticky different rear tires that throws the balance of the car off. You would have to be doing some crazy stuff out on the roads to really notice, but well I do that kind of stuff out there...
Another way to put it, If you drive within the limits of the PS3s on the front you might not even notice if you try to drive try to the limits of the Nitto's in the rear it's going to start to push more and more. People run sticky drag radials on the rear all the time. It would be more dangerous to run the R comps on front and the full streets on the rear.

but agree new fronts X old rears is a potentially lousy combo. i just replaced my rears ( 1k miles ago ) and by the time i install these new fronts in another week i'll be a cpl k miles from needing rears again
given i'm not really liking the nt01's for my spirited canyon stuff ( so far.. though pwdr tells me its def a psi issue and he's probably right...) still i think i'm going back to p zeros or new michis rear. i just hate paying the fat guy "tax" since i never get more than 4/4.5 k from ANY rears.
but i do prefer the ride and stick of a top shelf summer max rear tire, has been my experience. particularly running rwd in canyons. "tracking" performance of a tire, isn't germane to my usage.
i completely understand that, and agree.
not gonna happen.
