On the Airbus 330 the oil tank, on the right side of the fan case, is held with those ajustable rods. You can also found them on the starter pneumatic duct on the 310 and 330.... Very useful to know but too bad for me I'm retired LOL!!!!
What type of aircraft this picture is from?

The part pictured has a TRW sticker on it. They also make control arms for our car.

I don't recall which aircraft this is off of. I see ton on the regular and they all run together.

"I see " said the blind man

I haven't seen the TRW control arms. I have torque solution ones. Seen the RSS ones, Tarret, GMG, etc.

TRW makes the Porsche control arms. They offer a cheaper one minus the Porsche box.

aiyer is on a distinguished road
I used to work for TRW back in mid-90s. I wrote SW for airbag simulation for a lot of manufacturer vehicles and electrically powered steering SW for a brand I can't remember. Nice company to work for back then...

The scary thing is how cheap aircraft owners are. Complaining about <$150/hr while paying more on their car.

funny you should mention that.. a buddy of mine once emergency landed his cessna on a public street in van nuys, CA. when the atsb investigated, they asked him "wtf"? and he just shrugged sheepishly when they found he was too cheap to fill up before he took off

..and all i wish i could do, was "rotate" my tires
