Great to see this nice review by Nick Murray comparing his 991.2 manual C4S with a 996 Turbo.
Performance value-wise, I love the 996 Turbo. I agree that it's the least attractive looking 911 but in the driver's seat, it puts a smile on my face each time.

great vid, thx for posting. love the comparison and explains why i am leaning toward a new 991.2 c2S. problem is it'd have to stay stock for warranty etc

Finally had a chance to watch....great vid. I haven't driven a 991 but I imagined that his description/comparison is accurate. I figured the 996T would be more exciting to drive. I often find myself laughing like a maniac when I power her through an on ramp....lol. Good stuff.
Haven't driven the C4s, but did drive a friends C2s. I would say both are awesome cars for completely different reasons. They should almost be different models versus generations. The 991 definitely feels bigger. And the center console is 🤢And the longer wheel base does change the driving characteristics. The power and shifting of the C2s feel is great and is definitely impressive. But less of a drivers car IMHO. It has far too many driver aides and nannies. It's like the driver is a kid and the car is a helicopter parent. But that is a stretch to hold all of that against it considering the vast improvements made and how great the rest is.

i agree, and it's often the case that the 911 improves with each iteration and i cant see how this wouldn't again, be the case.. also agree with the notion that 996t esp when even mildly modded has a power delivery that wont be equalled in the newer car, as i also hang onto my hat daily. but the ( roughly ) equivalent 420 hp of the 997.2 along with the added turbos has got to be a competent and comfortable DD. if i have my druthers, i would keep the 96t and get the 991.2C2S for any trips into "traffic".
yes, its pdk, i really do want a 991.2 w pdk ( as long as the 6mt stays ). i sure dont need/want the awd though, so for me, the c2S is the sh*t. the guy at the d'ship keeps wanting me to test one but i haven't lost my checkbook, so I'm not going anywhere near it lol.. yet.
I view the 6tt as more of a tuners car. You deal with some of the cars rough edges and quirks so that you can crank up the power. If I was looking for. DD and I was a good bit older I can see myself going for a newer one.
Couple of things about this video, first he's talking about 420 H.P. but I saw .9 boost which mean this car has a reprogram ecu and should have more H.P. Funny to see the spoiler failure. How about the message on the speedometer CDS T 09 , I don't have a clue about that one (nav unit?)... Finally, I love red TT !!!!!!
