TechArt GT-S Aero comments

I am looking to get the Techart GT-S (carbon fiber) nose, side skirts, and deck (no **** as I see no speed improvement and want to trailer track tires).

Can anyone please comment on:
high speed handling improvement (greater downforce)
fitment and prep requirements
any warranty concerns
cosmetic opinions

i believe all the concern above won't trouble you.
i've driven Type II bumper at 185... and it's really really stable...
not to mention about GTS bumper which the downforce should increase by a lot with that carbon lip at the front.

The main problem you'll be facing is the fitment. TechArt bumper never fit right... (on both the GTS and the Type II I had)
The only place it doesn't fit right is the place where the side turn signal is... the bodykit don't go in a smooth line... and it pop out a little bit...
it is not that noticeable... I was really annoyed by it at the beginning... but well...after a while...u just get used to it... haha

I love the Techart stuff and heard that my front II GT (no S as I didnt like carbon as I have nothing carbon in my TT) is in customs
Will be ordering the sides too as they have grown on me a lot in the last 2 weeks....
I dont think any front improves aero much - rears do better (big wings = big downforce)...
Techart looks hot IMO

Msindi:

Get pictures when it's on. The GT-S should help front downforce and they claim to improve suction as well (underbody flow). I am getting more info on the side slots on the nose (functional or not) and on the deck lid (ram air?). The cool thing is you can remove the cf splitter up front for street driving and throw it on at the track.

Luting-chen Your car really started me on this path.

I cruised through the desert at 180 with no downforce problems at all.

I went 160mph....
everything looked perfect, just some scraped damage due to driveways.

mine too, but u can't tell unless somebody point it out.
a lot of mechanics told me that this is a VERY common issue due after market bumpers. not only TechArt stuff, my friend BadBoy Anziano bodykit (sp?) too...

its not a big deal... alot of people will only focus to look at the TechArt's fangs..... not the right side marker
