Aftermarket hub and steering wheel problem - steering angle sensor

Running some Sparco hub and Krontec QD + 991 cup steering wheel, seems we can not find a way to install steering wheel sensor sensor anymore

Car is generation code 440 - Steering angle sensor

Anybody had this problem ?

I'm running the same setup - 991 cup wheel and QD with no issues. Can you take a photo of your setup. I believe the steering wheel sensor is mounted further down the column.

s65e90 is infamous around these parts
Can't see how the steering angle sensor was even affected.

Steering angle sensor is on the lower column assembly deep in the dash. The Code has nothing to do with the hub/steering wheel assembly Fadi...

That's because of 997 GT3 brake master cylinder. ABS will not work. Only way to get rid of that (and get ABS operational) is to disconnect PSM''s pump's power. Quick and dirty, but works. You'll get "ABS/PSM failure (or smoething similar) Visit workshop" whenever you start the car and every 20something minutes. Just ignore and click it away with BC's stalk.

Pete, do you know what I need to do?

I am running 997 gt3 calipers, should I keep these and put back the oem 996tt pump for now?
And update later with all parts together - brake master, rear pump, brake reservoir etc

Do you know if there is any thread where I can learn more about how our braking system works? Seems I didnt do my homework this time

So after I have read, seems we can run 997gt3 MC only with PSM off, otherwise will have to use 996tt or 996gt3(better? saw you are using one of those) to have both.

For rainy days sometimes I wish having the PSM, still dont know what to do... when I bought all those 997 pumps thought they will work all together, still dont know if anybody was able to do that, but seems the answer is no..

Guess

997gt3 calipers + all OEM = ok
997gt3calipers + all OEM, but 997 vacuum pump = ok? makes any sense?
