I'm surprised he didn't say the ECU was shipped out before this thread was started, and all issues had already been resolved with Eddie.

As Sharky knows, I have been dealing with a shady service shop the last few weeks in the East Bay myself (unscrupulous shysters everywhere?!). Anyway, not that you haven't wasted enough time on this already, but have you thought about bringing this up with the Consumer Protection Unit of San Mateo County DA's office? From what's on this thread so far, plus the last episode, I think there's enough of a "pattern of behavior" to warrant some interests. In my case, I contacted the Bureau of Automotive Repair and the Alameda County's DA's office, and it's amazing how quickly you see some results. Anyway, best of luck!
YoWIls, I was really happy to hear the outcome of your case. I'm glad you didn't lie down and take it. ABsolutely ridiculous stuff but I think we all need to learn from you!
