Markski tuned k16 billet 996TT runs 10.41 sec. @ 134.66 mph

Hey Guys,
One of my clients in Australia, Lee Douaihy, beat his previous 1/4 ET after upgrading his Tip ( 10.7 sec on stock), and ran 10.41 seconds at 134.66 mph on K16 billet turbos with 1bar wgs, 3.5" coolers, 74 mm IPD plenum and TB, catless exhaust, injectors. We spent some time fixing leaks and stuff but now its finally moving... and still AWD and full weight on R888s.
Im guessing thats the fastest 1/4 mile recorded on a k16 billet entry level compressor upgrade... I may be wrong but its up there.. Thus, some say k16 compressor upgrades don't have it... they do it just has to be done right... Lee was committed to running 10s in the car. Stock motor tuned at 1.5 bar on race gas with a couple street data logs back and forth...
best
markski

1.5 bar on stock bottom end? I would think the stock rods would resemble spaghetti noodles at that pressure. Or the heads would lift.

that's nothing. I see tunes other companies write and the car runs 1.45 bar on 91 octane.
I stop at 1.5 bar on race gas. The rest is up to you and if you want it I’ll turn it up.

requires a full commitment to run fast no short cuts
and it can be done as above on entry level turbos.

no launch Control no Boost. I gave him a Rpm limit at the light but he chose not to use that file. So it’s like stock off the line.
