While doing a boost leak test I lowered the engine to check lines. After removing the F hose I noticed some "play" in regards to the aluminum intake plenum. I found the mount bolt gone and the intake essentially unsupported and lying against the fuel filter canister!
Could be a problem over time!
Anyways, anyone have a pic of or know the bolt type I need? I'm thinking it is rubber collared. Thanks!

 

It is held with 2 pins and one bolt....I remember installing a generic metric bolt in there... May be M6X18 but not sure....

Nice work B. Those break off sometimes too from the engine being lowered just a bit too far.

 

I ruined my first manifold lowering the motor with that bolt in place

 

+1, on the last 6tt pinning job I did, the previous owner/tech decided to save me time by shearing the mounting tab off the manifold for me

 

I have the markski soft inlet tubes now so I don't have anything attached. Nice part.

 

I could be the culprit lol but think it's just backed out as it's missing not broken. I will try to find the correct bolt. It isn't a complete bolt hole on bracket. It's more like a U. Thanks guys.
