Today i was looking at coolant level and since it was few millimeters below MIN i removed the cap to topped it at MAX level , but when i removed the cap some pressure was released and the coolant in tank rise about 1 inch and level return between MIN and MAX . Car was totally cold and indrived for 3 days. Is normal to have some pressure in cooling system on a totally cold engine ? I hope i don't have Head Gasket or cracked head problem .
Anyone have this strange cold pressure in coolant ?

In fact it is a good sign if you got pressure in the reservoir! Means no external or internal leaks!!!

 

Also the level should be very close to Min when cold and very close to Max when hot. If you fill it to Max when cold it will it will push the water out as it heats up and expands.
