Actually we were going to have the day off today but... we did some Boost Hoses on a stage II car and before ya' know it a few others turbos showed up. Three stage II's, two GT640's and one POS SharkMobile. Spot the 6speeds in the group though.. Tips won the day. So for anyone that's seen the movie Clerks I'm sure you'll appreciate the line "Dammit, I'm not even supposed to be here today!" It was good to see you all guys as usual and my wife is likely mad but... Also I know my car looks pimp just like that but I'm going for a new weight saving program...

PS We'll soon be having our very-own "Norcal 996TT Motons Group Meets". PSS9s are out and Motons are in it seems?!?

 

Sweet! Did you find the problem with the Sharkmobile

 

Sweet turnout Alex. BTW - I just picked up a set of evoms hoses. I am having trouble getting the clips to clip in on the hoses in the engine compartment. They dont seem to go all the way in, causing the clips not to seat properly. Yesterday I was boosting the new gt640 kit in 3rd and I heard a huge PSSSSSHHHH. The engine died and CEL came on. I popped the trunk and the passanger side hose had came right off the engine. Any suggestions.

Hey Jags, once they go in.. they're really in. You can hang from them and they don't come off. My guess is that the installer thought they were in but they weren't "quite" clipped down on both sides. I did that the first time I put mine in but then James showed me and i listened to both sides "clicking" in

P.S. we had a quick yard sale with the Sharkmobile while Alex was not paying attention.

I even ended up with some Gt3 seats and a roll bar out of this "meet".

Very nice man, howcome those GT2 exhaust tips look like they are so much further out then usual?

BTW Alex nice little turbo meet lol, question though, what is the biggest difference from getting the upgraded boost hoses? Also sorry, im just trying to get everything i want at once and will paypal shortly
