A local garage say they have achieved 480bhp by giving a tt the GT2 map. They say they can overcome the potential problems with the differences in the cams.
The cost of this will simply be the time taken, 1 hour at the hourly rate so $75 for 60 bhp.

I don't think it's the Cam differences that need addressing.

Probably just not versed into technical stuff enough.

I'm sure the ECU would take the program. Maybe I'm oversimplifying, but it seems GT2 is no different than an X50, and even at that really just has boost maps built for K24s and higher boost.

I wonder what would happen if you programmed a K16 car with K24 programming? boost is boost afterall. I'm sure at some pint you may start to overspin your K16s and cause early failure if you are asking them to spin too fast.

Either way, it's a thought provoking question..
