Cortex EBC installed

After working with Todd at Protomotive on a K24 Mafless + Injector program, I noticed that 1st and 2nd gear could use some boost by gear control. Looking up EBCs I decided on a Cortex EBC:

https://sirhclabs.com/product/cortex-ebc/

It is a pretty sophisticated EBC with boost by gear features, closed loop control, overboost control and 16 x RPM boost maps, 64 x RPM boost maps. It also can control a Water Methanol injection system which I plan to install in the future.

Install was straight forward. Ran a boost line from front of the car through the side panels to the rear of the car. Also ran wires for the boost solenoid, and WMI solenoid to the engine bay.

Wiring was simple enough:
Grey/pink wire behind the radio was used for VSS.

Green/purple wire off pin 9 of the OBD2 connector was used for RPM.

The unused Phone cable was used for switched 12v and GND.
Kept the N75 plugged in but not connect to any vacuum lines.

Tuning is straight forward. Set your start/base duty cycle by logging each duty cycle (10%, 20%, 30% and so on).
Input your duty cycles for each RPM data point till you get the curve you want.
Turn on Closed Loop boost control with the recommended PID settings and set your Boost PSI setpoints per RPM.
