996TT 2001 DME Questions

Hi

Currently have a problematic DME in my 2001 996TT

Wishing to replace it so I can tune the car again, currently using an EBC

Will this DME --> 996.618.605.00 work?
Do I have to do anything to sync it to my original car?

Thank You

If you get another ecu it needs to be a turbo one 996-618-606-01. It will require someone to reprogram it to your vin.

Most tuners can fix the ecu and get you a tune. I used Kevin @ Ultimate Motorwerks to fix my ecu and provide a tune.
