Pull it out and look under it. There is a slit that has a tab in it. Push that in while pulling out. The **** will pop off. Then remove the nut and pull the switch. Thats it.

Is it typical to have the switch fail/become hard to turn the lights on? It sometimes takes a "hard" turn to the right in order for my headlights to come on. Is this a usual occurance in these cars or am I an exception? Sometimes I have to do it 2 or 3 times (hard) in order to get the headlights on. Any ideas?
