Some of you may remember last summer someone tried to steal the Turbo emblem off the back of car, and ended up breaking the O off only. I had a "Turb" for about 3 days, until Ken 560+ hp mailed me a brand new emblem and he paid for the shipping to me. I was absolutely shocked that a perfect stranger gave me something for free. I posted about my thanks on 6Speed and knew that this forum has a sense of "family" about it. Over the last year or so I received so much info from this site and knowledge about Porsche.

Fast forward to today, I saw that Ken got the new Kreis-Seig exhaust and I inquired about his Cargraphic Medium. I wanted to know how much he wanted to sell it for. Well after a few emails, it is on its way via UPS for free to me. Ken sent the exhaust to me, paid for shipping, and also included the tips. I must say that Ken is one hell of a nice and generous guy. I really appreciate Ken and the 6Speed forum for everything. This is absolutely the best forum out there!

Ken's agreat guy, he once sent me a camera mount, free. I've since repaid the favor to other members who needed something I had no use for either. Rather make a friend than 100$.

 

Ken has set the standards by which we all should treat our 6speed brethen. Kuddos to you Ken and the other members that have passed on this act of kindness. The greatest gift we can give is to pass this on to others when the opportunity presents itself.

I've said this before in an earlier post, this forum is comprised of truly generous and very knowledgeable people who share freely for the benefit of everybody. I too feel priviledged to be part of this great group.

Too bad the real world doesn't work the same way.

 

Calcareer, I agree 100%. The real world is a very selfish world. I have a sense of comraderie and trust amongst the members of 6speed. I know we all have our own styles, and passions in life...but the one that links all of us here is our cars. I am glad to have bought a Porsche and get to know this great group of people through 6Speed.

My coworkers, friends and PCA buds still cannot believe I am getting a free Cargraphic exhaust. Actually I still cannot believe it myself.

Also many thanks to some of the people who have personally helped me with my car. Nate from Evo, Alex Ross, and Arling who have gone above and beyond to help me, and answer all of the crazy questions I have about these cars. Also thanks to everyone on this board for making this the best forum!!!

 

That is what it is all about. When you receive a gift from someone as generous as Ken, the beauty of it is that makes you want to do the same thing when you are faced with a situation where you can aid another 6speed member.
