Here's the response on the sound / info from the seller: Sorry, we don't have a sound clip. However, the system sounds awesome!!! System comes complete with 200 cell sport cats and all mounting hardware. Performance wise it is one of the best systems on the market. Rather then using stainless steel wool for the sound proofing on the inside, Rinspeed is using pre heat molded ceramis wool (just like on a race car exhaust). Further are the welds wick welded. This will allow the welds to expand up to app. 600 times. A regular welded system (like most competitors systems on the market) will expand only up to app. 220 times. Again, wick welding is also used on race car exhaust's.

Never heard of it. I wouldn't be a guinea pig at retail. No clips, no video clip, no buy.

Funny I looked on the RINSPEED website and could not find that particular one. Not much history on ebay, has the shop been around for long?

If that used AWE exhaust was still for sale on here I would grab that up. Talk about sounding sweet. My Europipe2 quiet works well for me. Also many others have said when we go for a drive that the exhaust sounds awsome at full wale.

I'm with you Shark. No sound clip, no buy. I still dont understand how someone expects to be successful at e-commerce without something tangible for the potential buyer. I think I'm gonna pass.

REMUS http://members.dslextreme.com/users/...mus%20Exhaust/

SS construction, quiet with a sweet rumble. Punch it and it changes tone instanetly and roars. I love it.

Get it at www.speedgallery.com + the 90 MM euro spec pipes are bigger than the US spec version. 200 cell cats ensure long life. Nuff Said!

Ari, when are you going to shoot more videos? The Remus has alot of potential as a quality low-cost exhaust.

And what is this about 90mm pipes? I haven't heard of that and the speed gallery website is down.

Ape,
You're right about the business aspect of introducing new exhausts to the marketplace. I was advising the 9ff distributor for months what they needed to do to get some credibility. They finally made all the right steps....then the pricing got out of hand

I can't be sure, but the Us Version of the exhaust was like 70mm and the euro version (which is what i have is like 80mm. Don't quote me, I don't sell it, install it etc....

I'll try to talk my wife into shooting some today....

Ari,

Most after market exhausts have 60mm piping while the stage 2 higher performance exhausts (or eurospec) have 70mm piping throughout.

Ther are a very few high performance exhausts that have 76mm piping throughout and this is a very large 3" diameter piping that is literally squeezed into the exhaust cavity.

The Remus has 60mm piping while the eurospec version has 70mm. 90mm is getting close to 4" piping all around which is not possible within the confines of the turbo exhaust cavity.
